Description: - An Arts & Crafts silver and enamel plaque brooch by Murrle Bennett & Co, circa 1910. The brooch is set with an enamel plaque depicting sailing boats (possibly by Charles Fleetwood Varley), within a hammered silver surround. It is stamped '950', and 'MBCo' for Murrle Bennett and Co.

Period: - Early 20th Century.

Date: - Circa 1910.

Engraving: - None.

Measurement: - The brooch measures 1.6cm (height including bale) x 4.1cm (length) x 0.6cm (depth).

Weight: - 7.3 grams / 0.23 troy oz.

Condition: - No repairs, or damage present. Surface scratches, and minor tarnishing commensurate with age and usage. The enamel plaque displays a slight bit of movement in its setting, but otherwise appears secure and in good condition. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
