Description: - An Edwardian 18ct yellow gold five stone diamond and pink sapphire ring. The ring is set with three old-cut diamonds, bisected by two mixed cut pink sapphires.
As was common for the period, the ring is stamped "18CT" to denote 18ct gold fineness.
Period: - Early 20th Century.
Date: - Circa 1900s.
Engraving: - Unengraved.
Measurement: - UK ring size K (leading edge). US ring size 5 1/4 (leading edge). The face of the ring measures 4.5mm x 10.5mm. The diamonds have a total weight of approximately 0.21 carat. The sapphires have a total weight of approximately 0.30 carat.
Weight: - 2.9 grams.
Condition: - The ring is in good condition. Minor surface nicks, and abrasion to the gemstones commensurate with age. light surface rubbing to the ring head from previously having being worn next to another ring. Main stone treatment is unknown. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
