Description: - An antique 18ct yellow gold "Keeper" ring. Keeper rings were originally worn on the finger to prevent another ring from inadvertently sliding off that finger. The detailing is very crisp for its age. 

Assay: - .750 Gold (18ct). The ring is stamped with Birmingham hallmarks, 1913, and '18' to denote 18ct gold.

Date: - 1913.

Engraving: - Unengraved.

Measurement: - UK ring Size P 1/4 (measured to to the leading edge). US ring size 7 3/4 (measured to the leading edge).

The ring is strong and thick at approximately 12.5mm to the front and 4.5mm to the reverse.  20.5mm (width) x 22.0mm (depth) x 12.5mm (height).

Weight: - 10.9 grams.

Condition: - The antique ring is in good condition. Light surface wear and scratches to the ring commensurate with age. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
