Description: - A George III sterling silver gilt Vinaigrette by the silversmith Wardell & Kempson, Birmingham, 1814. The Vinaigrette is of watch case form, engraved foliate decoration, the interior with a hinged, pierced, and engraved foliate scroll grille.

The Vinaigrette is hallmarked with the markers mark 'W&K' for Wardell & Kempson, George III duty mark, date letter 'q' for 1814, and lion passant to denote sterling silver.

Measurement: - The vinaigrette measures 3.6cm (height) x 2.8cm (length) x 1.2cm (depth).

Weight: - 16.1 grams.

Condition: - The antique silver Vinaigrette is in good condition with light surface scratches, tarnishing, and marks commensurate with age. The cover hinge, and grill hinge both close tightly. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
